About Forecastall

Forecastall answers one kind of question: where is this number likely to be in a few months or years? Exchange rates, inflation, GDP growth, unemployment, interest rates and commodity prices, 224 series today, each with a median forecast and an honest range.

Why

Professional forecasts for these numbers are usually behind a paywall, and the free sites show history without a view of the future. We think a transparent statistical baseline, free and updated automatically, is useful to anyone planning a trip, a budget, a purchase or a piece of research.

How

Public data from FRED and the World Bank goes into TimesFM 2.5, an open forecasting model from Google Research. Nobody edits the numbers. Each page says where its data comes from, when it was last updated, and how accurate the model has been on that series. The details are in themethodology.

What it is not

These are statistical projections, not financial advice. They know nothing about tomorrow's news. Use them as one input among many.
